like a banana carton our shelter is fragile like sand dollars our currency is fragile even from this mountaintop we see no beyond we have to trade a good view for a free fall my parents are headhunters for the islands king in handshake transactions we share our thoughts i‘ve seen this islands end i‘ve seen it end to cast off, it‘s time in the crack of dawn because im a one-man raft i‘m not sorry for leaving nothing‘s better than a breather i ve always had to salt my tongue to taste a sweetness i have to diet on silence i forgot how the stars sing i want to shake off these ghosts that expect me to chase them

these sundried worries unlike old crusty cuts they won‘t wash away so i chose to trade those idle hands for bloody wrinkled brows so when you watch birds do you focus on their wings or their clumsy useless feet the grass is greener on the other side because it‘s soaked with sweat and whine some may think that i‘ve chased a sun too long in the same old pale blue sky do you try to scare me with your song and dance i‘m deaf like you‘re mute and lame i guess we‘re different we find comfort in unlike lifes and deaths and utter entropy keep the birds in mind they have got the greatest chance to die before they fall and still i long for wings

i‘d like our ears to hear the echo of the spheres the theme, motif and the coda the interstellar orchestra cosmic drones of galaxys are stranding unheard silently celestial mobile pinning all our hope on radio telescopes but all we hear are some ghost notes i wanna hear the rock & roll eternal feedbacks echoing the stories of some other worlds conducting satellites placing waste in the sky
